Whether you are returning to education, seeking a career change, or embarking on your journey in the health and social care sector, our Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Health and Social Care is specifically designed with adult learners in mind. Delivered in a supportive and inclusive learning environment, the course covers essential topics such as human lifespan development, safeguarding, and working practices in health and social care, equipping you with the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to succeed.

With classes delivered just one day per week, this programme offers the flexibility to balance your studies alongside work, family, or other commitments. It provides a nationally recognised qualification that can lead directly to employment in roles such as care assistant or support worker, or serve as a strong foundation for further study in fields such as nursing, social work, or other healthcare-related disciplines.

  • Entry Requirements
    • Anyone aged 19 or over
    • Have either 4 GCSEs at grades 9-4 (A*-C) (English and maths ) OR a Level 2 qualification.
    • You will also need an advanced DBS clearance, and final selection is by interview and internal tests
  • Assessment

    Assessment is by coursework and assignments, which are both internally and externally assessed.

    This course is taught on the Greenwich Campus on Fridays 9.30 am-5 pm
