Entry Requirements
- Be over 19
- Have either 4 GCSEs at grades 9-3 (A*-D) (English and maths desirable) OR a Level 1 qualification.
- You will also need an advanced DBS clearance, and final selection is by interview and internal tests.

Assessment
Assessment is by course work and assignments, which are both internally and externally assessed

Moving Forward
Most students progress to the Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care, having met the entry requirements of a merit grade, satisfactory completion of placement hours, and attendance at or above the college’s expectations. For those who do not continue to the second year, many move on to related employment or apprenticeships, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field.
